Method
VipsImagescRGB2CICP
Declaration [src]
int
vips_scRGB2CICP (
VipsImage* in,
VipsImage** out,
...
)
Description [src]
Transform an scRGB image to CICP signal. The target colour encoding is specified via the optional CICP arguments.
Currently only matrix_coefficients VIPS_CICP_MATRIX_RGB and
full-range output is supported.
The target CICP encoding is written to out as the following tags:
- VIPS_META_CICP_COLOUR_PRIMARIES
- VIPS_META_CICP_TRANSFER_CHARACTERISTICS
- VIPS_META_CICP_MATRIX_COEFFICIENTS
- VIPS_META_CICP_FULL_RANGE_FLAG
If luminance has changed (such as from clipping), you may also recalculate or
remove the following tags, as they might no longer be accurate:
- VIPS_META_CLLI_MAX_CONTENT_LIGHT_LEVEL
- VIPS_META_CLLI_MAX_FRAME_AVERAGE_LIGHT_LEVEL
Optional arguments
colour_primaries:VipsCICPColourPrimaries, target primaries (defaultVIPS_CICP_COLOUR_PRIMARIES_BT709)transfer_characteristics:VipsCICPTransferCharacteristics, target transfer (defaultVIPS_CICP_TRANSFER_SRGB)matrix_coefficients:VipsCICPMatrixCoefficients, target matrix (defaultVIPS_CICP_MATRIX_RGB)depth:gint, output depth in bits, 8 or 16 (default 8)
